Since late last year, Adopt Our Troops in Prayer has been offline, as limited donations and technological resources forced us to discontinue its operation. Now, we are thrilled to announce that we are re-launching Adopt Our Troops in Prayer -- giving you the same ability as before to either Register a Troop for prayer in our database, or Adopt a Troop for prayer from those who have been registered by others.

By participating in Adopt Our Troops in Prayer, you will join people like Chuck, a Presidential Prayer Team member with a heart for interceding for the military:

"I'm a Scoutmaster, and we believe in duty to God and duty to country. Both mean a whole lot to me, through growing up as a little boy and seeing the news of Vietnam to today's news about Afghanistan and Iraq. The brave men and women on the front lines are making the sacrifices for us and for our way of life, and our prayers for them are important. Scripture instructs us to pray without ceasing."

• Soon - through the Adopt Our Troop's web site, particiapants will be able to stay informed on each troop they've committed to pray for -- and much more.

Since 2003, nearly 560,000 people have made over 1 million prayerful adoptions of over 150,000 members of the Armed Forces since Adopt our Troops. It's an incredibile, concerted effort to cover our country's bravest and finest young men and women in prayer.
