The silver tongue of a man is a dangerous thing..
Some say a word comes from a  silver tongued devil  and I have to agree...
The tongue has become a mighty weapon in America God said life and death are in it.. I would rather see more life in it than death.. But where is it ?

Recently to many words are being spoken over the air waves of American Causing greater harm about not only our culture  but our faith.
It seems to be OK to condemn a Christian but ..GOD forbid a word spoken about a person of  a Islamic ,Jewish , or even a Satanic faith be spoken about.. then its the OFF WITH THE HEAD SYNDROME!!
Good grief the war of the words on the daily programs makes your head spin !!
Reminds me of little children bantering about he said she said stuff...

Recently we have been witness to countless displays of ethnic classes conversing about what can be said on the air waves and a dismissal has been made of Mr Imus..  Yet Ms O'Donnell and Mr Trump go at it... Like we think that is news and needs to be discussed at large for hours a day ? FORCING PEOPEL OFF THE AIR FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH BECAUSE IT HURT SOMEONES FEELINGS... WHAT IS WIT THAT?

It seems if your white and Christian and have a conservative bone in your body you had better learn to go under ground .. Well I'm not going under ground I will stand the ground GOD gave me .Yet I do believe in manners. I believe in something else as well its called fair play or equal time....
IF Bashing is going to continue on such a regular basis then I would suggest praising be given equal time..Momma said if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all..Momma was right!

I do believe in the freedom of Speech in America and I do believe in speaking with manners
Yet where has it gone? How I even long for the days when people were gracious to one another. When please and thank you and yes Ma am and Sir we the norm .

When you could spank your child and know it would not put you in jail.
I long for those times when a child could ride their bike across town to get some now $1.00 candy ( when I was a kid it was penny candy).
I remember when  Mom and dad said say your sorry to your sibling and they HAD TO FORGIVE YOU ON THE SPOT.
I remember as a young mother My 8 year old said to me" Mommy hate is word you can not take back.".It shook me to the core.  Now if a kid says that it is astonishing for all kids are taught to hate, look under rocks for bad guys and play with games that kill ,rape, and plunder... Of course those games are made with the intention of allowing a person to make a choice ...hmm mm makes me wonder who is really minding America? The choice as I see it is ...Who can make the most money and have the most control.
I must make money and I will make "Them" believe this can be done without causing harm..

Of course we have truth teller's out there BUT NO ONE WANTS TO LISTEN TO THEM!!Seems to me people have gotten things a bit  mixed up..
Truth is now the way we want to see it not as a fact..
Truth is when you can make the other cry uncle with your  words ( YOU BULLY)
Truth is when you twist the law to make you look good..
Truth is when you can convince a jury it is an illness instead of a crime..
Truth is when it is convenient to use the Child protection FEELING to make a point when you really care nothing for children ...

yes as I see truth. It has become a lie and we Americans are swallowing  it up!!
Because we do not have the time to stake a claim on morality (which now has two sides)
Either your right wing or left WING and the one in the middle is really the one who is trying to be POLITICALLY CORRECT TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY! AND THAT WONT WORK EVEYONE WILL HATE YOU!!

Now we hear "radical" right wing or "radical" left wing
which ..are just right and left wingers who have attitudes that need adjusting.
But what is this really telling our children?
it say's to them Trust no one Believe no one and don't watch me for if you do and I fail ..you can sue me for being human.
And most of all don't believe in GOD because He doesn't exist ...What a shame no Heaven to look forward to ..
No rainbows with imaginary pots of GOLD at the end ...No miracles to cherish...No love
Because Love Covers all says the GOOD BOOK.... Opps that is another issue can't have a BIBLE because the unbelievers wont like it..
AMERICA WISE UP GOD S FOR YOU NOT AGANST YOU AND WE NEED HIM
The real truth needs to be said We all need to be helped along in this world and we all need each other and we all need to face reality the truth is not being spoken BUT here at DaysmanPress  I sure pray it will continue ..Because it will set you free ..The truth that is...

 EASTER 2007
Parched  and weary the body mourns
It's  Loss is unbearable to the Spirit inside
Cherished loved ones encircle the hill
Called Gaolgotha
All the while as sweet aroma fills the Spiritual air
Unnoticed by the fight of flesh...
Does a man draw near...

Sitting amongst the ruined elders is Peter looking on...
At the foot of the tree ...
a mother breaks

Behold My Mother He said

We say behold the lamb of GOD
To the end of His time He thought of others

Then...
On the third day It Started ..
The war between man  GOD
To Believe  is to know and to know is to believe

Who would have thought so much love would be discarded ..
Yet Today...
While non believers cry....
But God save the tree© Tess

About Ancestry and St Patty' Day

I am no different on St Patrick's day I tool claim to be Irish
But in Fact I am . American Irish and British.
My Fathers roots are in Ireland his family roots go to the Southern tip of Ireland  and one day I do hope to make my own pilgrimage to the Forefathers of my clans on both sides of the family..
My Mothers family holds onto peerages of family names in Great Briton and Scotland . We do have a pedigree line of Whinfield also known as Wingfeld and Winfeld and Wingate all were 4 brothers who changed their  names, to divide what I call the lines of distinction.

We are decedents of Mary Queen of Scots and hold a coat of arms of the Stewart  clan but.. we also have roots in Northumberland England which is said to not be that good..
Of course we will find out we have skeletons in the closet  but I really don't care  about that .
I found out I am related to Lord Widdrington of Northumberland who was placed in "The Tower "for not bowing to Rome  During the Reign of King Henry the 8th ( so the story goes) During the reign of Elizabeth I she was told of the Lord who would not bow to Rome, who stayed steadfast in the call of his life towards GOD and King.
He was released from the tower and all land and  titles were handed back to him and I have been informed that the titles would remain as long as a living  person was bearing the name well Yeah ...From what I was told ... It is a good story thanks Mom...
My son does bear the name of Widdrington.
What does that have to do with St Patty's day ..well plenty I realized in my maturing years that past has everything to do with present and even the ancestry of our families is quite important.Bad and GOOD!
Personally I admire anyone who will stand for their own conviction and, Lord Widdrington Thank you for allowing us to follow in your footsteps!

I learned that the Irish side of my family is quite a spit fire of temperament and well my sister Kate has flaming red hair. and let me tell you ..Its real!
Irish blood is strong blood and the resolve of British blood may very well make a good American in my book.
I am so proud of my ancestors yes  but, I am more excited about the fact we are now in the land of the free..

Yet every March I tend to put on the green and take a walk down the Isle of my heritage hall in my home and am grateful for what I have .
Many times when my son was in a moment of indecision of what he is going to be in life ..I took him down that  hall of fame... and defame ... Widdrington good or bad it's there.
I do believe every family should have one.
We looked at The printed coats of Arms on adoring the walls and read again who they were
Some were Ministers . Parsons . Many were  Barons and Lords and Nobles of far away lands..Some hold angelic tribute and all have one thing in common  they fought well..
I have over 8 coats of arms adoring our walls reminding me of those who paid a price for me and my life to be successful  in my time.. to be free today!
Every so often we take our finger and touch them, and reflect upon the tributes which were handed down and recall the Titles of the Bearers .We Humbly ask forgivnes for our selves, who have not lived up to that standard.
I look at the historical pieces of antiquity and begin to somberly reflect of how much has really changed ..
The gilded walls of Balmorals Balls and the swords of fighting Chivalry is dead in many  American hearts ..But ..Not ours..
Mother and Father gave us a heart of a Lion to fight and keep fighting. And Fighters we are indeed! Overcomers of failing bodies and putting to rest loved ones at very early ages we learned to have an overcming spirit.

Remembering who we are was one of my late mothers last request ..
To see her only grandson hold onto the principle of long ago days and present times. To wear the Tartan of The Family to have handed to him the fellowship of Heritage and to be made into the Image God has for him because he was born for such a time as this..
Mother desired the peerage be restored and all that was alive in the land be given my son.

O how I can see her now still when I think of the day he honored his grandmother and donned the kilt and wore the sword given him he proudly wear the coat of arms ring and is Very Proud to be American. She wept we all did, It was her desire to allow the past become an ever present moment in  time.....

But on St Patrick's day  he drinks the beer and watches the parades and smiles inside knowing it is not in vain remembrance takes place. We have on many occasions linked arms and gracefully loved the family past and pray to GOD the Ancient things that are of God in the lives of our ancestors lives on . IN US!
Seems to me everybody puts on the Irish on that St Pats Day but we must remember it was because of HIS duty to GOD he was really made famous.
I do wish that part of the Memorial day would be rememberd most ..It has for us.
I do hope you enjoy what you see it is our small part of a big picture of holding on to both lands in our hearts
Happy St Patty's Day!

The Truth About St. Patrick

The person who was to become St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, was born in Wales about AD 385. His given name was Maewyn, and he almost didn't get the job of bishop of Ireland because he lacked the required scholarship. Far from being a saint, until he was 16, he considered himself a pagan. At that age, he was sold into slavery by a group of Irish marauders that raided his village. During his captivity, he became closer to God. He escaped from slavery after six years and went to Gaul where he studied in the monastery under St. Germain, bishop of Auxerre for a period of twelve years. During his training he became aware that his calling was to convert the pagans to Christianity.

His wishes were to return to Ireland, to convert the native pagans to Christianity. But his superiors instead appointed St. Palladius. But two years later, Palladius transferred to Scotland. Patrick, having adopted that Christian name earlier, was then appointed as second bishop to Ireland.

Patrick was quite successful at winning converts. And this fact upset the Celtic Druids. Patrick was arrested several times, but escaped each time. He traveled throughout Ireland, establishing monasteries across the country. He also set up schools and churches which would aid him in his conversion of the Irish country to Christianity. His mission in Ireland lasted for thirty years. After that time, Patrick retired to County Down. He died on March 17 in AD 461. That day has been commemorated as St. Patrick's Day ever since.

Much Irish folklore surrounds St. Patrick's Day. Not much of it is actually substantiated.

Some of this lore includes the belief that Patrick raised people from the dead. He also is said to have given a sermon from a hilltop that drove all the snakes from Ireland. Of course, no snakes were ever native to Ireland, and some people think this is a metaphor for the conversion of the pagans. Though originally a Catholic holy day, St. Patrick's Day has evolved into more of a secular holiday.

One traditional icon of the day is the shamrock. And this stems from a more bona fide Irish tale that tells how Patrick used the three-leafed shamrock to explain the Trinity. He used it in his sermons to represent how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit could all exist as separate elements of the same entity. His followers adopted the custom of wearing a shamrock on his feast day.

The St. Patrick's Day custom came to America in 1737. That was the first year St. Patrick's Day was publicly celebrated in this country, in Boston. Today, people celebrate the day with parades, wearing of the green, and drinking beer. One reason St. Patrick's Day might have become so popular is that it takes place just a few days before the first day of spring. One might say it has become the first green of spring.

February 14 is considered The "Day of Love"..   All across America lovers dote on each, other with gifts and flowers and romantic imaginations..Candle light suppers etc.
Well, I am no different ...I like that stuff too!!

I love a good love story, and as a women who is like all women, relational I find I get caught up for the moment as well.
I am a newly wed of just a year and I find the excitement of possibly getting a surprise on a day that is set aside for love well..I love it! ( I will let you know whar he did )
I can't expect roses because my husband brings me them each week (I am convinced Jewel -Osco has our name on it in the flower section)
But a little romance never hurt anyone! So what is the" must do" this year?
Hmmmmmmm let me prepare for that day!

Today I looked in the mirror, Then promptly  went to Meijers food store and bought a sport machine to make my abs flatter. I proceeded to purchase 1- 5 lb weights to make my arms look better.
Marched right on to the water section to buy Gatorade and bottled water so I could look fresher.Bought 2 jars of OLVIES because i was told it help your skin ( Sophia Loren eats them every day).

When I finished up at Meijer foods I proceeded to the nearest cosmetic store and found several goods available to tighten up my skin on my face, smooth our the wrinkles and to brighten my eyes. I bought  a new eyeliner and brush.

I even found a new hairpiece to make me feel younger .. Of course to match my dyed blonde hair and highlights that cost me a fortune every 4 weeks. I went to the other side of the store to purchase hair repair (from all the dying) because we need that healthy shine.....

Next ... I also stopped by the nearest clothing outlet to purchase a new suit and a new pair of those wonderful stretch jeans! ( They suck it all in you know)
When I completed that I drove to Victoria's Secret to see if i might find some new item there  I promptly walked out. Why? because again I looked into the mirror and notice perhaps my funds might be better well spent on Botox?

And of course I am constantly reminded of THE LATEST red carpet issue IT'S IN MY FACE AT THE GROCERY STORE !!
I then make an appointment to have my nails done and new do for my hair. All for that possible special day 14 Feburary 2007..... What to wear what do do what to buy and what to give...

I will buy him roses this time such a surprise that will be...because after all I went through my gift to him has to be me!
Now I have completed my thought for Valentine's Day I decided it was time to go home and fix myself a cup of tea and to my surprise my doting hubby comes in with roses and cupcakes .. Isn't he sweet? I am convinced he like me this way ...
AHHHHHHHHHHHH being woman can men really afford us?
So much for Valentine's Day !!
 Have a good one!!!

REMBERING PRESIDENT FORD!! 895 days in office was the man honored ...

I met a man named Gerald Ford (President) when I was a kid when he ran for the Presidency..
Personally I did not rally care about who won in those days I was just a kid..
My mother asked me what I thought of him and I just shrugged my shoulders and went eh...
Something happened to me tough after meeting this man. For just a second mind you.
I watched him pardon a man who had fallen from the eyes of grace in our nation. A man who was driven out of office on the heels of impeachment and went quickly and with reserve...
I can still seeing Mr. Nixon waving the last time to all us Americans as he departed the white house ... and I thought
What is this man who could pardon such as thing??  This Man was a Godly man who showed pricnipals of Grace and resolve to  Nation who did not recognize it at the time.. i grew to respect Mr ford and thankful for the legacy he has left behind.

This was a man who could teach a NATION to forgive!
See article below it speaks for its self Thank you Mr. Vice President!

quotes by the Minister...
"How mighty is the hand that can turn the page in history"... well said Rev.

Cheney Lauds Ford's Service During Ceremony at U.S. Capitol
lBy Gerry J. Gilmore
American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, Dec. 31, 2006 – With military members standing a solemn guard over the flag-draped casket in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, Vice President Richard B. Cheney yesterday evening eulogized former President Gerald R. Ford.

Coughlin, House of Representatives chaplain, gives the invocation during memorial services at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda on Dec. 30. Photo by William D. Moss  '(Click photo for screen-resolution image);high-resolution image available.

By his pardon of Richard M. Nixon, Ford prevented Americans from experiencing more political turmoil from Watergate, Cheney said in his eulogy to the fallen former chief executive.

"It was this man, Gerald R. Ford, who'd led our republic safely through a crisis that could have turned to catastrophe," Cheney said. "We will never know what further unraveling, what greater malevolence, might have come in that time of furies turned loose and hearts turned cold."

America was spared further angst, Cheney said, through Ford's pardoning of Nixon, which occurred not long after Ford had become president in August 1974 after Nixon resigned. Ford was president from 1974 to 1977.

Cheney had served as Ford's chief of staff. Former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld performed his first stint as the Defense Department's top civilian in the Ford administration.

Ford was an astute and honest man who likely sacrificed his chance for election as president in his own right in order to bind the nation's scars, Cheney said. Ford lost to Jimmy Carter during the 1976 presidential election.

"For all the grief that never came, for all the wounds that were never inflicted, the people of the United States will forever stand in debt to the good man and faithful servant we mourn tonight," Cheney said.

Senior military officers including Marine Gen. Peter Pace, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Vice Chairman Navy Adm. Edmund Giambastiani, and other members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff listened to Cheney's eulogy and looked on as other servicemembers posted in and around the Rotunda stood guard around Ford's casket. Members of the Navy Band's Sea Chanters chorus sang hymns at the ceremony's opening.

Cheney also praised Betty Ford, the fallen president's widow and former first lady. It was obvious to friends, Cheney said, that Betty Ford was the source of her husband's happiness and sunny outlook.

"All the good that you shared, Betty, all the good that you did together has not gone away. All of that is forever," Cheney said.

Ford healed America during his time in the Oval Office, Cheney said, noting it was now the time to say goodbye to his former boss.

"And so, for now Mr. President, farewell. We will always be thankful for your good life," Cheney said.

AN ANGELS CHRISTMAS STORY

©

Fitted with clothing, that of the earthly realm, wings securely hidden, Saffire went as she was told.
Leaving behind the cleansing sea she followed direction to the earth beneath.
Landing softly upon the dry dusty roads of Bethlehem, she began her quest.
Not looking back, She had a mission to complete. The master sent her to trod this street.
Her eyes were aglow with the knowledge of Love. Only a love like that comes from above.
Merchants in the streets greeting one another, bidding each ones wares, are better, than the other.
Business as usual Saffire thought that day. But I came to see it unfold another way..
Passing by her , on the cracked parched road came a donkey carrying an awesome load.
A mother to give birth soon, Saffire could see. This is my quest the one I was told.
Pressing onward to the city for night, Saffire saw the town full of light.
Camels and Kings were bedded for sleep, Saffire worn from dreary travel, sought her nights keep.

Onward toward the inn she moved and asked if a room might be fully approved.
"NAY" was the innkeepers word that eve. "Sleep in the barn now take your leave!"
Saffire walked toward the stable when she felt in her heart a tug.
Then her eyes ... beheld before her, everlasting, non forgetting, merciful love
I know that feeling. I long for it now ... she then gave her knee to a humble bow.
Resting in the arms of the mother who passed her that day, a new born baby now was laid.
Looking toward the mother the father and Son, Saffire now realized her journey had begun.
Saffire stayed with this family for many, many years. Till one day the crowed shouted its Venom and Gritted its Jeers ..
Then and, only then Saffire filled her eyes with tears. The word had come "look away my dear."
Forced to look into the other direction Saffire now had a moment of somber reflection.
Id seen him grow in wisdom  and might and now I am being spare this dreadful sight.
They have wounded him, and killed this loved one for sure. Will it be I who carry him now to the other shore where Saints will bow?
But not till one job alone He must do...He conquers the grave for me and for you.
The up from the ground He arose ... Saffire was waiting with her majestic Angelic pose..
Yet He is not wearing His outward grave clothes
Adored in white with a silver lining .. He illuminates His being, gloriously shining.
"Come away with me Saffire" He said to me..."I known all along you were guiding me"."You kept me safe in my mothers arms. You sheltered me from many an earthly harm.
"You did your job you did it well, for all eternity, they will sound the alarm..You will see".

"A song Saffire will be sung for you A song of love from me to you..
All through the earth it will play and play, And on each and every Christmas Day.
Hark The Herald this angel sing Saffire Glory to the newborn King."
Merry Christmas
